The School of Media and Communication at the University of Leeds is a
highly ranked department with a vibrant research culture and a

Lecturer and an Associate Professor in Media and Communication to join
us from September 2017.
Candidates should have a PhD in media and communication studies and a
developing or strong record of research, commensurate with the level of
the post, with a clear indication of the ability to achieve
internationally recognised standards of excellence. Candidates will be
committed teachers and outstanding communicators able to contribute to
teaching and administrative activities in media and communication.
For both posts, candidates’ expertise should support or complement our
existing strengths in cultural production and media policy,

applications from candidates with research or teaching interests in race
