[ecrea] Job opportunities in Liverpool
Fri Apr 07 21:00:14 GMT 2017
I'd like to draw your attention to two full time, permanent, posts at
the University of Liverpool for suitably qualified candidates. Thanks to
increasing student demand, the department continues to grow: we made
four appointments for last session and the ones we are advertising now
are in addition to those. Our degree portfolio is also expanding. We
are hoping with these posts to further enhance our research strength,
and we will be glad to hear from any applicant who can help us achieve
an excellent result in the REF.
Please get in touch with me directly if you would like to explore
further before applying.
Here are the headline facts and the links:

The advert reads the same for both posts:
You will undertake research and teaching in the Department of
Communication and Media, with a teaching focus according to your area of
expertise and involvement in team teaching at first year level. You
should have a PhD (or be about to obtain this) in a relevant area. A
demonstrated track record of publication of internationally excellent
research in Film and Television studies, Digital Culture and
Communication or International Political Communication is desirable for
the role, however the priority is to maximise research strength
irrespective of specialism. Potential to contribute to our London
programme will also be taken into account.
