[ecrea] New Post Lecturer in Film - Kent

Dear Colleagues,

The School of Arts is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Film to 
contribute to the teaching and examination of undergraduate and 
postgraduate programmes, to make a substantial contribution to the 
research activity and environment of the Department and School, and to 
contribute to the administration of the Department and School.

The successful candidate will be expected:

§ To be actively engaged in research, producing published outputs of 
international significance and have in place research outcomes of 3* or 
4* quality ready for submission to REF2014.

§ To convene, teach and examine existing modules within the Department’s 
programmes, as well as enhance the curriculum by proposing and 
developing new modules in their area(s) of expertise and interest.

§ To play an active role in all aspects of programme development and 
management.

§ To participate in the wider work and activities of the School of Arts.

§ To remain current in their field and within the academic profession, 
completing professional development courses as needed or required.
