[Commlist] CFP: Animex Conference 2026

This is a friendly reminder that the *Call for Papers (CFP)* for the 
*Animex Conference 2026*, hosted by Teesside University, is still open. 
There’s only 9 days to go until the deadline 26 June.

Animex is an internationally recognised conference and festival 
celebrating excellence in *animation, VFX, games, immersive media, and 
related creative technologies*. The conference brings together 
academics, industry professionals, and practitioners to share 
cutting-edge research, practice, and insights.

We warmly invite submissions across a range of topics, including (but 
not limited to):

  * Animation theory and practice
  * Visual effects (VFX)
  * Games design and development
  * XR/immersive media
  * Digital storytelling
  * Creative technologies and pipelines
  * Industry–academic collaboration
