Call for Chapters: AI and the Media: Navigating Ethical and 
Environmental Issues

We invite chapter abstracts for an edited volume exploring the ethical 
and environmental implications of AI in journalism and mass 
communication. The book will examine how these fields can reconcile AI 
use with its environmental impact and labor practices.

Key Areas of Focus:

 1. Current state of generative AI in mass communication
 2. Policy and regulation
 3. Reconciling environmental impact

Submission Guidelines:

  * Abstract length: Max 500 words
  * Deadline: November 1, 2024

We encourage qualitative or critical cultural approaches. Submissions 
from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged.
