[Commlist] 'Illiberal Turn and the Media' - hybrid conference, 28-29 April

Join us for the ‘Media and the illiberal Turn’ hybrid conference, which 
is taking place this week, Thursday 28^th & Friday 29^th April, at 
Loughborough University & online. The conference marks the final year of 
the ESRC-funded Illiberal turn <https://www.illiberal-turn.eu/about/> 
project and is co-hosted with the Centre for Research in Communication 
and Culture. It will feature keynotes by Marlene Laruelle (George 
Washington University, USA) and Afonso de Albuquerque (Universidade 
Federal Fluminense, Brazil) and presentations covering case studies of 
media & illiberalism from around the world.
