“MEDIALANDSCAPE  OF RUSSIA AND THE WORLD: PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE”

The conference will be held on April 14th, 2021.


Main topical areas of the conference:

•	From the classical media model to new media paradigms: trends and
forecasts.
•	Media and the pandemic: a new agenda setting.
•	Media genres: inevitable evolution.
•	Modern media: reflection of reality or its formation?
•	Modern messengers: new information capabilities or threats?
•	System of language functional styles and media text.
•	Media literacy of the addressee in Russia and the world.
•	Creative capacities of a journalist: current requirements.
•	Social and moral aspect of journalism in media space.
•	Language policy of mass media in the post-Soviet area.
•	People and events that changed journalism.
•	World Journalism: Corporate or Government Interests?
•	Is a new golden age of printing press coming?

April 14th, 2021 – Plenary meeting and sections of the conference

The program of the conference will be sent additionally to the full-time
participants via email.

Working languages are Russian and English.

Presentation research articles (no more than 10 pages) should be received by
the Organizing committee before March 23, 2021 to be included in the
conference proceedings.

Materials must be submitted only electronically by e-mail
(conference-tizh /at/ rudn.ru)

Materials should be made in format MS Word, type 12, Times New Roman, bastard
interval, paragraph (indention of the first line is 1 cm), margins – 2,5
cm. Names of files are registered as “Author’s surname_application”,
“Author’s name_article”.

All materials are published in author's edition. Please check the text for
spelling and mistakes.

Expenses are at paid by participants and the guest organization.

An application for a RUDN University hotel room if necessary
