*Goldsmiths, University of London, Friday 15 May, Saturday 16 May 2020*

Keynote speakers: *Gary Younge* (former editor-at-large of the Guardian 
and author of /Another Day in the Death of America/), *Ghada Karmi* 
(author of /Return: A Palestinian Memoir/), *Alan Rusbridger* (author of 
/Breaking News /and former editor-in-chief of the Guardian) and *Mark 
Curtis* (author of /Secret Affairs/ and /Dirty Wars/)


Opening panel: Friday, 15 May with *Gary **Younge*, *Bev Skeggs* and 
*Richard Seymou*r


Main conference: Saturday, 16 May. Sessions include the Guardian's 
relationship to: empire and history; liberalism; Brexit and populism; 
foreign coverage; bias and balance; feminism; regulation and the state; 
and philanthropy and funding.
