A call for papers will be issued shortly. Accepted papers will be considered for a themed issue of the /Journal of Alternative and Community Media, /which will be published as an Intellect journal in 2020.

Participants who register for this symposium will also be able to participate in visits to community and alternative media organisations in Brisbane on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 26.

Participants will be invited to informal drinks and dinner by the Brisbane River, at their own expense, following the post-conference. A free shuttle bus will transport ICA delegates staying at the Gold Coast to and from the Brisbane venue.
