On the 1st and 2nd of June 2017, join Queen Margaret University and the
Association of Arts Administration Educators for two days of
programming, with over thirty sessions, all exploring the future of Arts
Management as a discipline
Over 80 International Delegates from across Europe, the USA and beyond
will come together in Edinburgh to discuss the future of Arts Management
as a discipline. More than 30 sessions will explore key questions of
pedagogy, research, field practice, policy, and more.
Highlights include:
- A plenary session on Edinburgh’s cultural plan, featuring Lynne
Halfpenny, Lindsay Robertson, (City of Edinburgh Council), Janine
Matheson (Creative Edinburgh), representatives from Mason Bone Projects
and more.
- An all-new research track comprised of paper presentations from
around the world, all blind peer reviewed.
- Keynotes from Shona McCarthy, Chief Executive of the Edinburgh
Festival Fringe Society, and Professor J.P. Singh, Director of the
Institute for International Cultural Relations at the University of
Edinburgh
- A Friday night Ceilidh dinner and dance event at The Hub.
