> regional network for all those involved in screen studies and screen 
> heritage in the South West, is holding the first symposium under its 
> auspices. This will take place on 5th June and is kindly hosted by 
> University College, Falmouth at its Tremough campus.

> We are issuing an open call for papers on any aspect of moving image 
> study for the event, and we are particularly keen to receive submissions from:
> Early years scholars
> Postgraduate students
> Research work in progress from more established scholars

> Please note that submissions should be from those based in the 
> government South West region (Cornwall, Devon, Dorset/Bournemouth, 
> Wiltshire, Somerset, Gloucestershire/Bristol). The event will be 
> from 10am to 5pm and lunch will be provided.
