The Department of Communication at Tulane University in New Orleans is 
hiring an Assistant or Associate Professor of Media History at Tulane 
University in New Orleans.

Areas and approaches of interest may include broadcast media, cinema, 
digital media, video, media archaeology, intermediality, or 
industrial/institutional histories. The ideal candidate’s research must 
be grounded in historical methods (including archival research and/or 
interviews) and their critical theorization. We seek a faculty colleague 
to expand and innovate in the Texts and Representations area of our core 
curriculum.
