Communication Papers: Media Literacy & Gender Studies (ISSN 2014-6752),
published by the University of Girona, is a peer-reviewed, open-access
electronic journal, available in English, Spanish, and Catalan,
published twice a year. Based in the disciplines of media and
communication studies, the journal focuses on journalism, audiovisual
communication, and advertising, with a particular emphasis on issues of
gender treatment and media literacy. Communication Papers focuses on
publishing articles on mass communication from diverse perspectives.
This new issue of the journal focuses on the diversity of media,
communication, and gender studies.
