Sat Mar 14 11:48:53 GMT 2026
*European Media Management Association (emma): Applications open for
emmaConnect 2026*
The European Media Management Association (emma) invites applications
for the 2026 edition of emmaConnect, an initiative that brings together
early-career researchers, including early postdocs, with more
experienced scholars in the field.
emmaConnect aims to support exchange, mentoring, and professional
development within the media management research community. Deadline for
applications: 31 March 2026
emmaConnect brings together early-career researchers with more
experienced scholars in an informal and temporary set-up. This may take
the form of one or multiple online conversation(s) in which the research
and/or career path of the early-career researcher is discussed. This may
also potentially lead to research collaboration with the more
experienced scholar and their team, or, possibly, the inclusion of the
early-career researcher in online meetings of other PhD or postdoctoral
researchers at the experienced scholar’s university. The experienced
scholar and early-career researcher may also work towards developing
joint publications.
The 2026 edition is open to:
-Early-career researchers, including early postdoctoral researchers, who
are interested in taking part in the initiative;
-Postdoc researchers who are more than five years beyond the completion
of their PhD.
-More experienced scholars who would like to contribute to the
initiative by engaging with early-career researchers and postdocs.
Further information about the initiative and the application process is
