Invitation to Contribute
The International Journal of Multilingualism and Languages for Specific
Purposes (IJMLSP) cordially invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners
to submit original and unpublished manuscripts for Volume 08, Issue 03,
scheduled for publication in December 2026.
The journal welcomes empirical studies, theoretical contributions, research
reports, case studies, and scholarly book reviews that advance knowledge in
the fields of multilingualism and Languages for Specific Purposes (LSP).
About the Journal
Edited by the University of Oran 2 Mohamed Ben Ahmed, IJMLSP is a biannual,
double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal with no submission or
publication fees.
It serves as an international forum for interdisciplinary research
addressing
contemporary issues in:
1. Multilingual Communication in Professional Contexts
• Multilingual interaction in workplace settings
• Professional discourse in healthcare, law, science, and business
• Multilingual negotiation of expertise and authority
• Communication challenges in international organizations
2. Languages for Specific Purposes (LSP) Pedagogy and Curriculum
• ESP and LSP curriculum design
• Needs analysis in professional language programs
• Assessment in LSP education
• Professional writing and genre studies
• Teacher education in ESP/LSP contexts
3. Digital and AI-mediated Specialized Communication
• AI-assisted language learning in LSP contexts

The journal is published in print and online formats, with the electronic
version freely accessible and downloadable.
Focus and Thematic Orientation
IJMLSP adopts a broad and inclusive perspective on multilingualism and
Languages for Specific Purposes. It particularly encourages contributions
exploring the intersections between multilingual practices and specialized
language use, including but not limited to:
English for Specific Purposes (ESP)
Arabic for Specific Purposes
Chinese for Specific Purposes
