ANNOUNCEMENT: Screening Series "Documenting a Multicultural Paris: 
Intersecting Gazes on Screen"

We are pleased to invite you to *"Documenting a Multicultural Paris: 
Intersecting Gazes on Screen,"* a program of screenings and debates 
dedicated to documentary practices and representations of cultural 
diversity in Paris.

Through a selection of contemporary films, the series explores diasporic 
experiences, migrant memories, and the city's transformations by 
crossing critical, poetic, and political perspectives. These sessions 
will bring together researchers, filmmakers, and field actors within a 
participatory and interdisciplinary research framework.

*Full Program and Schedule:*
The cycle will take place at Sorbonne Nouvelle (Campus Nation, 8 avenue 
de Saint-Mande, 75012 Paris) over three sessions:

*March 20 at 6:00 PM*

"Le Bal du Chateau Rouge" (2024) by Gaby David and Maximiliano Battaglia

"Nouveau Monde" (2024) by Vincent Cappello

"Paristopia" (2025) by Emanuel Rojas

Nous avons le plaisir de vous convier au cycle *"Documenter un Paris 
multiculturel : regards croisés à l'écran",* un programme de 
projections-débats consacré aux pratiques documentaires et aux 
représentations de la diversité culturelle à Paris.

À travers une sélection de films contemporains, il s'agira d'explorer 
les expériences diasporiques, les mémoires migrantes et les 
transformations de la ville, en croisant des regards critiques, 
poétiques et politiques.

Le cycle se déroulera à la Sorbonne Nouvelle (Campus Nation, 8 avenue de

Ces séances réuniront chercheur.euses, cinéastes et acteur.rices de 
terrain dans une perspective de recherche participative et 
interdisciplinaire.
