[Commlist] Communication & Sport Vol. 14, No. 1, published

Thu Jan 15 10:46:58 GMT 2026

The first issue of Communication & Sport journal in 2026 (vol. 14, iss. 1, February 2026) is accessible at https://journals.sagepub.com/toc/coma/14/1 <https://journals.sagepub.com/toc/coma/14/1>.

In his last first editorial for the volume, Editor-in-Chief Andrew Billings reflects on the growing globalization of the academic field of sport communication and the richness of perspectives examined by the contributing authors. Such welcome diversity creates the need to contextualize more of the phenomena we study, so the editorial offers helpful guidance on devising manuscripts that will be comprehensible and relevant to a broad range of readers.
