[Commlist] Special Section on Ageing and Media in NECSUS published

We are pleased to inform you that the Autumn 2025 issue of the open-access /NECSUS: European Journal of Media Studies/ is now available online.

For scholars interested in topics of ageing and media, this issue includes a special section on /Ageing/, guest edited by Luis Freijo, Asja Makarević and Belén Vidal. The section comprises seven research contributions, including one audiovisual essay, and an Introduction co-authored by the Section's editors.

In addition to the special section, the issue features the journal’s regular content, including an interview with Jane Gaines, a series of audiovisual essays on videographic performativity, two data papers, as well as reviews of books, festivals, and exhibitions.
