[Commlist] Journal of Electronic Publishing 30th Anniversary Special Issue published

We at the /_Journal of Electronic Publishing 
<https://journals.publishing.umich.edu/jep/>_/(JEP) are excited to 
announce the publication of our _30th Anniversary Special Issue 
<https://journals.publishing.umich.edu/jep/issue/439/info/>_, edited by 
Alyssa Arbuckle and Janneke Adema.

This collection celebrates three decades of /JEP. /It features 
reflections from three /JEP /editorial board members–Chérifa 
Boukacem-Zeghmouri, John Maxwell, and Jefferson Pooley–as well as an 
introduction and reflection by co-editors Alyssa Arbuckle and Janneke 
Adema. Boukacem-Zeghmouri provides a historical reflection on /JEP/’s 
trajectory over the past few decades, and the ways in which her own work 
has intersected with the journal’s over time (in French and English). 
Maxwell telescopes into the Books and Browsers moment, an era that 
/JEP/ engaged by publishing proceedings from that conference. And Pooley 
considers the predominance of textuality in scholarly communication; a 
reality reflected in /JEP’/s own historical corpus, which is primarily 
although not exclusively text based. Arbuckle and Adema dig deeper into 
an ongoing consideration of AI and editorship. Thank you to these 
authors and to all the /JEP /authors, editors, peer reviewers, and 
readers–as well as the tireless Michigan Publishing team–for their 
contributions to the discursive community that is /JEP: /past, present,
