Call for papers AIMAC 2026 - The 18th International Conference on Arts
and Cultural Management in Rio de Janeiro
AIMAC is the leading international conference on arts and culture
management, bringing together a vibrant global community of academics
and practitioners. In 2026, it will take place in Rio de Janeiro, July
1–3, offering new perspectives for the field and strengthening dialogue
across disciplines and cultural contexts.
Submissions for AIMAC Rio 2026 are open until November 28, 2025.
Scholars and students are invited to submit their work in one of the 12
tracks.
Anders Rykkja, Queen's University Belfast, and Carolina Dalla Chiesa,
Erasmus University Rotterdam, specially invite contributions to track 11
on Funding, Patronage and Sponsorship Models for the Arts and Culture.
For this track, we are looking for submissions related to funding and
financing models spanning the cultural and creative industries,
inclusive of media and communication studies and topics, i.e. film,
audiovisual production, broadcast media, video games, journalism and
content creation spanning core models (direct and indirect public
funding, streaming models, exploitation of copyright/IP) and newer
models (platform-based monetisation, e.g. crowdfunding, Patreon, Twitch,
YouTube)
