The School of Modern Languages and the School of Philosophical,
Anthropological and FilmStudiesat the University of St Andrews seek
suitably qualified applicants for the position of *Network Coordinator &
Research Assistant* for theGermanScreenStudiesNetwork (GSSN). The
successful applicant will, first, provide administrative support for the
GSSN’s academic leads and, in particular, help plan, promote and deliver
Network events and communications; second, use their expertise to design
and lead a workshop for secondary school educators; and third assist
with establishing and managing a new peer-reviewed journal devoted
toGermanScreenStudies, to which they will contribute their own research.
This position is offered as a 0.3 FTE post (around 11 hours each week)
for a fixed-term of 3 years. The position could be extended beyond
twelve months subject to funding and performance.
