Call for Papers: Book 2.0
Book 2.0 is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal with
contributions by leading scholars, practitioners and theorists on
historical, modern and contemporary book creation, design, illustration
and production. Its focus is unique and its topics are broad, ranging
from oral literature to the digital humanities, every article addressing
an urgent question or topic.
Alongside themed calls for submissions, we are open year-round to work
that fits the journal’s scope and agenda. We welcome contributions from
scholars, authors, poets, illustrators, publishers, filmmakers and
others with something to say in the fields of literature, narrative,
communication, book production and what makes a book a book.
We invite articles and creative works of approximately 4000–5000 words
(prose) or 1000–2000 words (poetry), plus 300-word abstracts and book
reviews of 1500–2000 words.
Please email your work in the first instance to both journal editors,
Drs Tom Ue ((tom_ue /at/ hotmail.com) <mailto:(tom_ue /at/ hotmail.com)>) and J.C.
Bernthal ((jamie /at/ jcbernthal.com) <mailto:(jamie /at/ jcbernthal.com)>) with ‘Book
2.0General Call’ in the subject bar. Please contact the editors before
beginning a review to avoid overlaps and to access more information
about the journal’s review scope.
