We would like to thank all the people who have already submitted their
proposals and, following up on the many requests we have received over the
past few days, we have decided to extend the deadline for submissions until
December 31st!

The CERLIS2025 conference on Metaphors in Specialized Discourse In and
Across Cultures (12-14 June 2025, University of Bergamo) aims to explore the
intricate and multifaceted roles that metaphors play in specialized formsof
discourse, encompassing scientific, technical, medical, legal, business,
media, tourism, and political communication, across diverse cultural
contexts.
