[Commlist] COCE 2025 Call for Proposals 18th Biennial Conference on Communication and Environment

The International Environmental Communication Association (IECA), in 
collaboration with the University of Tasmania's School of Creative Arts 
and Media (CAM), is excited to announce that the *Call for Proposals for 
the 18th Biennial Conference on Communication and Environment (COCE 
2025) *is now open. The conference will be held from June 23-27, 2025, 
in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, with in-person and virtual participation 
options. Submissions in familiar formats, as well as in creative and new 
formats, are welcome until 11:59 pm PST on 31 October 2024.

For the first time, COCE will be in the Southern Hemisphere. 
Participants are invited to explore the theme Environment and 
Communication: Shifting Perspectives, Creativity, and Conviviality from 
the Edge. For submission guidelines and COCE 2025 details, including 
creative and interactive formats, immersive pre- and post-conferences, 
urban and bush-based excursions, and an unconventional 'COCE pre-party'
