Academic Assistant for the Department of Marketing Communication and 
Public Relations

The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University 
announces a vacancy for an Academic Assistant for the Department of 
Marketing Communication and Public Relations at the Institute of 
Communication Studies and Journalism.

Job Description:

-pedagogical activity in study programs Marketing communication and PR 
and Strategic communication
-significant administrative activities at the Department and cooperation 
on joint projects
-creative application of scientific research results in the pedagogical 
activity of the Department
-own scientific research activity and grant applications submission with 
the extension aboard
-serving on committees, supervision of students and assessment of 
student theses

We require:

-university degree with Ph.D.
-high-quality independent research and grant activity with the 
possibility to declare published results
-excellent command of the English language in both spoken and written form
    Czech language at native speaker level

We offer:

-workload of 1,0 (40 hours per week)
-expected start on October, 1st, 2024

pedagogical activity and creative activity at the Department
