    Tenemos la alegría de compartir con vosotres el *Call for Papers del
    segundo número de la Revista */MariCorners. Revista de estudios
    interdisciplinares LGBTIA+ y queer,/**que estamos editando
    conjuntamente con mucho cariño.

    La idea del monográfico surgió después del* congreso International
    Congress on Media, Gender and Sexualities: Representations,
    Literacies and Audiences

    el Centro de Ciencias de Benasque y cuenta con el abrazo de los
    proyectos organizadores del congreso (de los que somos parte),
    LGBTIQ+ Screens <https://www.lgbtiq-screens.org/>y TRANSGELIT.

    Para este monográfico nos hemos centrado en el el *panorama actual
    de los Estudios LGBTIQA+ de los medios en la academia
    iberoamericana,* pero como veréis en el propio call *la temática es
    bastante abierta* y nos interesan especialmente las *perspectivas
    críticas* y que tengan en cuenta diferentes formas de opresión y/o
    sus intersecciones, incluyendo:

      * Historiografías queer/LGBTIQ+
      * Sesgos, brechas de conocimiento y epistemologías queer/LGBTIQ+
      * Dilemas y metodologías en y para la investigación queer/LGBTIQ+
      * La academia neoliberal y los desafíos de la educación e
        investigación queer/LGBTIQ+
      * Pedagogías y medios queer/LGBTIQ+
      * Violencias, LGBTIQ+  fobia y medios de comunicación
      * Pantallas, representaciones queer/LGBTIQ+, cotidianidad e intimidad
      * Culturas colaborativas, contenidos generados por usuaries,
        transmedia
      * Audiencias e interacciones con contenidos queer/LGBTIQ+. Nuevos
        espacios mediáticos queer/LGBTIQ+: redes sociales, apps de
        citas, comunidades online, etc.
      * Nuevos actores en entornos mediáticos, género y sexualidades
        queer/LGBTIQ+ YouTubers, Instagrammers, Tiktokers, etc.;
      * Interseccionalidad, medios y estudios queer/LGBTIQ+
      * Diferencia, alteridad y comunicación queer/LGBTIQ+
      * Identidades, categorías y comunicación queer/LGBTIQ+
      * Decolonialidad, antirracismo y comunicación queer/LGBTIQ+
      * Clase social, clasismo y comunicación queer/LGBTIQ+
      * Imperialismo, capitalismo, (homo)nacionalismo y perspectivas
        queer/LGBTIQ+  en los medios
      * Animalidad, antiespecismo, estudios críticos animales y
        comunicación queer/LGBTIQ+
      * Discapacidad/ diversidad funcional, neurodivergencia y
        comunicación queer/LGBTIQ+
      * Anticapacitismo, accesibilidad y comunicación queer/LGBTIQ+
      * Corporalidades, gordofobia, violencia estética y comunicación
        queer/LGBTIQ+
      * Edad, etarismo y comunicación queer/LGBTIQ+
      * Traducciones e importación/exportación de conceptos y marcos en
        los estudios queer/LGBTIQ+
      * Lenguas minorizadas y estudios de comunicación queer/LGBTIQ+

    Esperamos recibir* vuestras propuestas*, y agradecemos la *difusión
    del Call For Papers*. La revista /MariCorners /es de creación
    reciente y está impulsada por un equipo de académiques referentes de
    los estudios LGBTIQ+ en el estado español y es de acceso abierto y
    *no se requiere ningún pago por parte de les autores.*

    En la web de la revista encontráis todos los detalles y las
    instrucciones para autores. *Sobre el idioma, la revista especifica
    lo siguiente: *"La preferencia es para estudios escritos en español,
    pero la revista está abierta a otras lenguas como inglés o francés,
    comúnmente usadas como lenguas académicas, y otras minorizadas
    dentro de territorios hispanohablantes”
    El plazo de envío de propuestas finaliza el *15 de junio de 2024.*

    We are happy to share with you the Call for Papers of the second
    issue of the Journal**/MariCorners. Revista de estudios
    interdisciplinares LGBTIA+ y queer/, which we are editing together
    with great enthusiasm.

    The idea for the monograph came after the *International Congress on
    Media, Gender and Sexualities: Representations, Literacies and
    Audiences <https://www.benasque.org/2023media/>* held in June 2023
    at the Centro de Ciencias de Benasque and has the support of the
    projects organising the congress (of which we are part), LGBTIQ+
    Screens <https://www.lgbtiq-screens.org/>and TRANSGELIT.

    For this monograph, we have focused on *the current landscape of
    LGBTIQA+ Media Studies in the Ibero-American academia*, but as you
    will see in the call itself *the subject matter is quite open* and
    we are especially interested in* critical perspectives* that take
    into account different forms of oppression and/or their
    intersections, including:

      * Queer/LGBTIQ+ Historiographies
      * Biases, Knowledge Gaps and Queer/LGBTIQ+ Epistemologies
      * Dilemmas and methodologies in and for queer/LGBTIQ+ research
      * Neoliberal academia and the challenges of queer/LGBTIQ+
        education and research
      * Queer/LGBTIQ+ pedagogies and media
      * Violence, LGBTIQ+phobia and the media
      * Screens, queer/LGBTIQ+ representations, everydayness and intimacy
      * Collaborative cultures, user-generated content, transmedia
      * Audiences and interactions with queer/LGBTIQ+ content. New
        queer/LGBTIQ+ media spaces: social networks, dating apps, online
        communities, etc.
      * New actors in media environments, gender and queer/LGBTIQ+
        sexualities: YouTubers, Instagrammers, Tiktokers, etc..
      * Intersectionality, media and queer/LGBTIQ+ studies.
      * Difference, Otherness and Queer/LGBTIQ+ Communication
      * Queer/LGBTIQ+ Identities, Categories and Communication
      * Decoloniality, anti-racism and queer/LGBTIQ+ communication

    We are looking forward to *receiving your proposals*, and we would
    be very grateful if you can please help us with the* dissemination
    of the Call For Papers*. The academic journal /MariCorners/, was
    recently created and is promoted by a leading team of LGBTIQ+
    studies scholars in Spain. It is also open-access and *no payment
    from the authors** will be required.*

    On the journal's website, you will find all the details and
    instructions for authors. *Regarding the language*, the journal
    specifies the following: “Preference is given to studies written in
    Spanish, but the journal is open to other languages such as English
    or French, commonly used as academic languages, and other minority
    languages within Spanish-speaking territories”.
    The deadline for submissions is *June 15, 2024.*
