CALL FOR PAPERS: Inaugural Conference of the Digital Culture Center at
Plymouth State University *(April 4-5, 2025)*
The Digital Culture Center (DCC) at Plymouth State University invites
scholars, practitioners, and digital culture enthusiasts to submit
proposals for our inaugural conference, which will focus on the theme of
*"A Sustainable Digital Future."* We are particularly interested in
proposals that engage with emerging digital issues impacting both local
and global communities. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
* AI and Machine Learning
* Big Data
* Privacy and Surveillance
* National/International Regulatory Frameworks
* Social Media and Digital Communication
* Virtual/Augmented Reality
* Digital Accessibility
This two-day event will feature a dynamic mix of workshops, panels, and
presentations designed to promote engagement among university
communities and beyond. Our goal is to encourage critical reflection on
digital culture, inspire interdisciplinary collaboration, train the next
generation of digital professionals, and explore the implications of
technology on our collective digital future. We welcome proposals that
reflect on these themes through academic, practical, and creative
lenses, bringing together students, faculty, and staff from across the
USNH system and the wider academic and digital communities.
*About the Digital Culture Center*: The DCC is dedicated to fostering
critical, interdisciplinary scholarship and dialogue on the intersection
of digital culture, technology, and society. It serves as a
collaborative space for discussion, debate, and innovation among
students, academics, activists, and digital professionals. More
