Corvinus University of Budapest, centrally located at the heart of
Europe, is the leading university in Hungary in the fields of Business
and Management, Economics and Social Sciences. The University
maintains an excellent position as a centre for research and teaching
and attracts an international group of students and faculty. It offers
a broad range of undergraduate, graduate, and executive programs in
the areas of Business and Management, Economics and Social Sciences.

Corvinus has been granted accreditation by AACSB, AMBA, EFMD and
EAPAA, and is a member of several international networks such as CEMS,
BSIS, PRME and CFA. Corvinus has been awarded the title of the most
sustainably developing university in UI GreenMetric’s world ranking in
2022.

The Institute of Marketing and Communication Sciences invites
applications for the position of Associate Professor in Communication
and Media Science for an indefinite period.

The role is designed to enhance the institute’s educational and
research capabilities within Communication and Media Science. We thus
invite applicants with a PhD in Communication Science or related
disciplines (Linguistics, Languages, Cultural Studies, etc.) with
experience in teaching university-level English language courses in
Communication and/or Media Science; and with a strong track record in
conducting high-quality research within the field of Communication and
Media Science. Applicants with a background in Visual Communication,
and/or Digitalization and Media Communication, and/or Communication,
Language and Cognition, and/or Communication Research Methodology are
especially encouraged to apply.

The start date is the Autumn semester of 2024.
