_We are pleased to confirm the participation of keynote speakers John
Postill (RMIT University-Australia) and Thomas Tufte (Loughborough
University London-UK) for this year's edition of the Move.net congress._
The V International Congress Move.net on Social Movements and ICT
<http://congreso.us.es/movenet/> will take place at the Faculty of
Communication of the University of Seville, from May 15 to 17, 2024. The
deadline for submitting proposals <http://congreso.us.es/movenet/c4p/>
(400-word abstracts) will be open until March 15. Proposals for oral or
written communications are welcome and they will be published in the
Congress' proceedings, with a selected number of papers being considered
for a special issue in a SJR/Scopus indexed journal.
Move.net addresses various thematic axes

technopolitics, cyberactivism, and the social appropriation of digital
technologies. The Congress is organized by the Grupo Interdisciplinario
de Estudios en Comunicación, Política y Cambio Social (Interdisciplinary
Group of Studies in Communication, Politics, and Social Change,
COMPOLITICAS <http://grupo.us.es/compoliticas/>) at the University of
Seville, in collaboration with the Red de Investigación en Comunicación
Comunitaria, Alternativa y Participativa (Research Network in Community,

collaboration of the Unión Latina de Economía Política de la
