Fri Dec 08 09:00:19 GMT 2023

Diffractions - Graduate Journal for the Study of Culture - /Issue 7 | //DEAF CULTURE/

We are really pleased to announce the publication of the online, peer reviewed, and open access special issue on /DEAF CULTURE /(link and table of contents below)
*

Diffractions is the first international journal in Portugal to exclusively dedicate an entire issue to Deaf Culture Studies and it just came forth with the launch of Deaf Studies Lab at the Research Centre for Communication and Culture of the Portuguese Catholic University. Having Deaf Studies and Culture Studies at its core, this issue involves several other fields and methodologies such as History, Linguistics, Theatre Studies, Migration Studies, Legal Studies, Ethnography and Anthropology, and Visual Arts, all written by an international group of authors whose articles have been peer reviewed. We hope that the special issue can be useful for researchers, but also for students and doctoral candidates.

The full issue is available at the following link: https://revistas.ucp.pt/index.php/diffractions/issue/view/825 <https://revistas.ucp.pt/index.php/diffractions/issue/view/825>
