[Commlist] Film and Media Studentships at Northumbria University

Jamie Sexton is pleased to announce that applications for Northern Bridge studentships at Northumbria University are now open. These are for commencement in October 2024 and cover fees and provide a maintenance grant.


The Department of Arts at Northumbria University offers a rich research environment, including the cultivation of dialogues between critical/historical/theoretical/empirical and practice-based research,and strong relationships with BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, British Film Institute, Live Theatre, The National Trust, New Writing North, Star and Shadow Cinema, Tate and the V&A amongst many national, local and regional cultural organisations.


We welcome any enquiries regarding applications within the areas of film and television studies, media and communication studies, and theatre and performance studies, particularly the following areas:
