[Commlist] Post-doc at Loughborough University on 'Re-CARE TV' project

We are pleased to announce a new post-doc opportunity on the AHRC-funded 
project 'Re-CARE TV: Reality Television, Working Practices and Duties of 
Care'.

This part-time Research Associate post is based at Loughborough 
University, working with Dr Jilly Kay (who will shortly be moving 
there), supporting research on participation in UK reality television 
and participants' subsequent careers. More information about the broader

The post is 0.5 FTE for 12 months, beginning on 1 November, 2023.

The successful candidate will also collaborate with the project's 
Principal Investigator Professor Helen Wood (Aston University) and 
Co-Investigator Dr Jack Newsinger (Nottingham University).

The successful candidate will have a PhD (or nearing completion) in 
Communication and Media, Cultural Studies, Sociology, or a cognate 
interdisciplinary field. They will also have substantial or demonstrable 
knowledge of research on cultural labour, social media and/or reality TV.
