Dear doctoral students and early-stage post docs,

Welcome to the emma Doctoral Summer School hosted by LUT Business School 
in Lappeenranta, Finland, *on* *August 14-18*!

The summer school is one of the core activities of the European Media 
Management Association – emma – with the purpose of supporting young 
scholars to advance their research and careers.

The summer school is targeted for young scholars interested in media or 
media-related topics.

Following the multidisciplinary nature of the research field, the 
research topics can be related to very different research traditions and 
topics (e.g., strategic management, communication, organizational 
behavior, entrepreneurship, marketing, data analytics, sustainable 
business models, platform economics, responsibility, and CSR).

The registration fee is 130e per person for emma members and 180e for 
non-members. This covers: the summer school, 5 lunches, 2 coffees per 
day, and participation in the free time activities (dinners included).

This is a great opportunity to advance your research and network with 
young and senior scholars. It is going to be an inspiring week with a 
full academic program and great time in the free time activities!
