[Commlist] Call for Book Proposals: algrave Studies in Digital Inequalities Book Series

Wed Feb 22 12:26:48 GMT 2023

we are excited to announce an open call for scholars to submit book proposals for our Palgrave Studies in Digital Inequalities Book Series <https://link.springer.com/series/16770>.

We are seeking monographs and edited volumes that speak to any aspect of digital inequality, digital divides, and digital inclusion writ large.

Titles in this series will investigate and propose different ways to think, analyse and understand inequalities in the digital age. Themes covered include, but are not limited to, how digital inequalities persist vis-à-vis economic class, gender, sexuality, race and ethnicity, ageing, disability, healthcare, education, rural residency, networks, and global geographies, as well as the study of emergent forms of inequality related to AI, digital labour, the platform economy and networked individualism, cyber safety, cybercrime, gaming, and emotional well-being.

We are seeking proposals from scholars across a range of disciplines, including sociology, communication, anthropology, economics, political science, and computer science, among others. We are also interested in proposals with a multidisciplinary approach, drawing on diverse theoretical perspectives and research methodologies.
