[Commlist] Development Studies Association Conference 2023 - Call for panels

*DSA Conference 2023 - Call for panels extended!***

The Development Studies Association’s (DSA) annual conference 
(https://www.devstud.org.uk/conference/) in 2023 will take place at the 
University of Reading from 28 to 30 June. The renowned conference will 
be organised and hosted by the University’s Global Development Research 
Division (https://research.reading.ac.uk/global-development/), under the 
theme ‘Crisis in the Anthropocene: Rethinking connection and agency for 
development’.

The call for panels has been extended until Tuesday 6 December 2022 due 
to it being a busy time for most, so please do consider submitting a 
panel idea. We encourage submissions from convenors who reflect a 
diversity of institutions and geographies, and which involve colleagues 
from policy and practice as well as academia. Panel ideas that are not 
directly related to the theme are also welcomed.

The DSA conference is the most important in the field of development 
studies in the UK and will invite over 500 participants from across the 
globe to discuss and debate new research, approaches and ideas. The 
hybrid format will also allow participants to join the conference 
online, making it an innovative and inclusive event.
