Willkommen zum XLIII. Symposium des VAKKI-Vereins 9.–10.2.2023!

Das Thema des Symposiums ist *Sinnvolle Kommunikation.* Wir bringen 
Vertreterinnen und Vertreter verschiedener Disziplinen zusammen, um 
dieses Thema aus verschiedenen Perspektiven zu behandeln.

Die Plenarvortragenden sind:
– *Oana Brindusa Albu* (Copenhagen Business School): “Managing 
visibilities through communication: The shades and shadows of activism 
in repressive contexts”
– *Anastasia Kavada* (University of Westminster): “Communicating (with) 
care: Vulnerability and communication for social change”

Bei dem Symposium können Sektionsvorträge oder Workshopvorträge gehalten

Welcome to the XLIII symposium of VAKKI ry on February 9–10, 2023!

The symposium is arranged under the theme of *Communicating with 
Purpose. *We welcome you to discuss questions of purpose and meaning in 
communication in the symposium held in February.

The plenary speakers are:
– *Oana Brindusa Albu* (Copenhagen Business School): “Managing 
visibilities through communication: The shades and shadows of activism 
in repressive contexts”
– *Anastasia Kavada* (University of Westminster): “Communicating (with) 
care: Vulnerability and communication for social change”

Participants may contribute with a section presentation or a workshop 
presentation. The workshop descriptions are available at
