[Commlist] 2x Lectureships in media, communication: City, University of London

City, University of London is making a series of strategic hires to
develop and expand its Media and Communication offer.
We are looking for two enthusiastic and committed researchers and
teachers able to engage and enthuse a diverse student body. The
successful candidates will have a PhD, ideally in Media and
Communication or a related field. Candidates should possess a general
knowledge of contemporary critical, theoretical and professional issues
in Media and/or Communication and be able to teach across either subject
in a way that is industry-focussed and socially relevant. In particular,
they should have research-based knowledge and the ability to teach in
several of the following areas:
For MEDIA post:
* Promotional Media (e.g. digital marketing & advertising; influencer
culture)
* Social Media
* Media Industries
* Media Distribution
* Media and Diversity
* Digital Content Creation
* Another major area of Media that complements current specialisms
