[Commlist] Animex Research Conference CFP

Animex International Festival of Animation, Games and VFX are delighted to be adding the Animex Research Conference to their family.

The conference aims to bring together academic, researchers and practitioners from across the games, animation and VFX landscape with a focus on technical innovations. We are seeking submission for the following topics-

 1. game and animation theory
 2. gesture recognition and motion analysis
 3. graph and network visualisation
 4. inclusive, interactive, participatory, and immersive approaches
 5. information visualisation
 6. machine learning and AI in animation and games
 7. motion capture and retargeting
 8. motion in sports and rehabilitation systems
 9. multimodal interaction: haptics, sound, etc
10. physics-based animation
11. procedural approaches and behavioural simulation
12. real-time animation
13. real-time simulation
14. serious games and Industrial applications
15. social agents and avatars
16. user experience and interface
17. virtual humans and autonomous actors
18. virtual production
19. visualisation, virtual reality and augmented reality

We are accepting proposals for individual 20-minute conference presentations, round table discussions, poster presentations and works-in-progress (aimed at PhD students and early career researchers.)

 1. 20-minute conference papers: 300-word abstract and 100-word
    biographical statement
 2. roundtables, proposals should be less than 500-words with a
    description of the roundtable. Duration is 80 minutes.
