Cary Bazalgette's book /How Toddlers Learn the Secret Language of Movies

In it Cary Bazalgette proposes a new way of analysing children's 
relationships with moving image media, by regarding them as  learning 
processes, rather than as potential threats to mental and physical 
health. The book draws on my 20-month study of two-year-olds: it is 
described by David Buckingham as "innovative and important" and by Cath 
Arnold as "an excellent read underpinned by some serious ethnographic 
research".
