*Doctoral Project in the Humanities + Public Health Field, University of 
Tasmania, Australia*

An interdisciplinary PhD project is being offered by the Media & 
Communications Program, the School of Medicine and the Centre for Rural 
Health at the University of Tasmania.

The Project is intended to be practice-led, driven by the development of 
a public health awareness media campaign in a regional community with 
subsequent monitoring and evaluation of the campaign’s efficacy.

The community/subject will a community in Tasmania, Australia that has a 
small, but economically and culturally diverse population living in both 
rural and urban environments.

The candidate will be considered for a Research Training Program (RTP) 
scholarship or Tasmania Graduate Research Scholarship (TGRS) which, if 
successful, provides a living allowance for 3.5 years and a relocation 
allowance.
