Seeking Book Reviews Editor for Convergence journal

We are seeking to appoint a new book reviews editor for the journal.


We publish six issues a year and seek to include 1-3 book reviews per issue.


After 4 years of service, Dr. Ysabel Gerrard from ​​the University of 
Sheffield is stepping down from the role to pursue other commitments. We 
are hugely grateful to her for relaunching the book reviews section of 
the journal in 2018 and taking it from strength-to-strength.


We greatly value the book reviews section and the opportunities that it 
presents for both emerging and established scholars to engage with 
leading edge work in the field.


This opportunity is ideally suited to an early career scholar for a 
short term (usually two years in the first instance) who is seeking to 
develop their editorial expertise, further their disciplinary knowledge, 
extend their networks and to receive mentorship from the journal’s editors.


We are particularly keen to encourage global majority scholars and those 
with protected characteristics currently underrepresented at this level 
to apply.

along with a brief discussion on the range and types of literature that 
you would like to see reviewed in the journal to:
