[Commlist] The Archive on Screen/Seminar series

Please find below the delais of the seminar series /The Archive on 
Screen: Art and Cinema towards Visual Culture/, organised by Cristina 
Baldacci and Miriam De Rosa.

The series tackles three key concepts, namely intermediality, 
circulation and montage, that offer the opportunity to methodologically 
look into the rich and complex relationships between the archive and 
that of the screen across a vast spectre of artistic and cinematic 
practices, all feeding into our contemporary visual cultures. The 
initiative is supported by the graduate programme in History of the Arts 
at Ca' Foscari, University of Venice, and it is designed for PhD 
students but open to anybody interested.
