*Call for Papers – Women and Broadcasting History *

//

/Women’s History Today/ is the journal of the Women’s History Network https://womenshistorynetwork.org/womens-history-today/ <https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwomenshistorynetwork.org%2Fwomens-history-today%2F&data=04%7C01%7Ckmurphy%40bournemouth.ac.uk%7C57529a6079ec45992e6908d9ae8dfbd9%7Cede29655d09742e4bbb5f38d427fbfb8%7C0%7C0%7C637732747103738998%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000&sdata=%2BTIk1HWYKvxhXGxib%2B%2FrtTemcYVkzBAi0aX%2FQEKD%2FEk%3D&reserved=0>

To commemorate next year’s centenary of the BBC, we aim to publish in November 2022, a special issue on the theme of women and broadcasting history. We would welcome contributions from established scholars and also from those completing PhDs. We are looking for longer articles, between 4000-8000 words, but also shorter pieces on fresh aspects of research. The time frame is quite tight. Finished articles would need to be submitted by the end of April 2022.

If you are interested in contributing, please contact either Kate Murphy, lead editor, /Women’s History Today/ ((kmurphy /at/ bournemouth.ac.uk) <mailto:(kmurphy /at/ bournemouth.ac.uk)>); Laurel Forster, Deputy Chair of WHN, ((laurel.forster /at/ port.ac.uk) <mailto:(laurel.forster /at/ port.ac.uk)>) or Kate Terkanian ((kterkanian /at/ bournemouth.ac.uk) <mailto:(kterkanian /at/ bournemouth.ac.uk)>)
