[Commlist] AHRC studentships Media and Cultural Studies Lancaster

Mon Oct 25 20:54:14 GMT 2021

The AHRC-funded North West Consortium Doctoral Partnership <http://www.nwcdtp.ac.uk/> brings together seven leading universities across the North West of England to promote the international research excellence necessary to underwrite the regional delivery of world-class PhD supervision and training in the arts and humanities.

As part of the consortium, the University of Lancaster invites applications for PhD research in the Media and Cultural Studies Pathway. Successful applicants would be supervised by the Media and Cultural Studies Research Group <http://wp.lancs.ac.uk/mcsresearchgroup/> in a department with a world-leading international and interdisciplinary research base. We work across diverse aspects of Media and Cultural Studies and welcome research proposals that reflect our critical approach to interrogating the relations between media, inequalities and social justice.

Prospective students are advised to consult the application guidance and attend a NWCDTP application workshop on 26^th November 2021 and 11 January 2022
