*ISSUE VI: RECONNECT*

*DEADLINE OCT 1 2021*

Just a reminder that submissions for Issue VI are due on October 1 2021.

This issue will explore the theme of RE-CONNECTION – the ways in which 
researchers and creative communities are emerging from the challenges 
we’ve all encountered over the last year, via the hybrid forms of 
(re)connection available to us in these uncertain times. This theme is 
intendedly broad, but may encompass forms of transnational 
collaboration, hybrid digital/street projects, visual activism, and 
emerging models for supporting and sustaining independently produced 
public art.

Nuart Journal is a peer reviewed journal. We accept submissions from a 
broad range of authors including cultural heritage workers, historians, 
critics, cultural and human geographers, political theorists, 
anthropologists, ethnographers, sociologists, psychologists, 
criminologists, curators, artists, writers, taggers, anarchists, and out 
and out vandals.

*Submission Guidelines*

Full papers should be around 5000 words, inclusive of citations and 
bibliography.

Shorter submissions, including research notes, photo essays, and other 
visual submissions, book reviews, interviews, and opinion pieces are 
also welcome. Please see prior issues of Nuart Journal for examples of 
visual and experimental submissions and do contact the editorial team if 
you wish to discuss an alternative mode of submission.

Papers should follow Harvard referencing guidelines.


There are no charges (APCs) associated with publishing your work in 
Nuart Journal.
