*Title:*
Learning between Proximity and Distance.
Online Presentation in Class.
/During the Corona pandemic, online education has become essential and
therewith online presentations are a key form of knowledge transfer in
schools. To take a closer look on the growing importance of online
presentation Jugend präsentiert (Youth presents) holds a conference that
wants to bring together practical experience and current scientific
findings on the topic of online presentation. Jugend präsentiert invites
teachers but also scientists and educational experts to contribute to
the program by submitting project reports, lectures, workshops and other
format ideas on the topic.
Important notice: The conference will be held in German and entirely
online./
The conference "Learning between Proximity and Distance. Online
Presentation in Class" (Lernen zwischen Nähe und Distanz. Online
Präsentation in der Schule) is organized by the non-profit educational
initiative Jugend präsentiert. It intends to show what online
presentations mean for everyday school life and how they can be a
multifaceted part of virtual teaching. The conference will address
challenges and possibilities of online presentations and intends to
point out perspectives and chances offered by digitalization. It aims to
be a platform for (school) practitioners, the public and also science to
exchange experiences, insights and methods in order to contribute in
encouragement and promote enthusiasm about online presentations.
Submitted *topics *can range from concrete experiences and practical
reports to empirical and theoretical studies:
* How can online presentations be used successfully in classes and how
can online presentations be used to convey knowledge in a lively way?
* How do online and face-to-face presentations differ?
* Which vocal and body language techniques can be used in online
presentations?
* What is the best way to technically implement online presentations
and what does good design for online presentations look like?
* How can the attention of students be focused during an online
presentation?
* How can online presentations be trained?
* What role do online presentations play in face-to-face teaching, how
can they be used to implement blended learning scenarios and hybrid
teaching models?
The contributions can be submitted in the following *formats*:
* Presentations, also group presentations (20-30 min. speech, 15 min.
discussion)
* Practice flashlight (10 min.)
* Workshop (30 / 60 / 120 min.)
* Practical report (20 / 30 min.)
* Panel discussion (30 / 60 min.)
* Poster
* Other (please explain the format)

Proposals for papers can be submitted from now until June 15, 2021 via
SurveyMonkey:

Proposals should not exceed 300 words and include the following information:
Question / Topic
Relevance / practical relevance
Program submissions will be selected by a program committee by July 15.
We retain the right to determine the time frame, to make
counter-proposals for the choice of format, and to group thematically
similar contributions into sessions.
