Coordination: Professor Francisco Rui Cádima (NOVA University Lisbon, 
ICNOVA) and Professor Ivone Ferreira (NOVA University Lisbon, ICNOVA).

This e-book stems from the need to reflect on the global crisis caused 
by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic, which interfered with public and 
private life, media consumption and the relationship with information 
sources and increased political polarization. 2020 was the year of 
discovering the inconsistency of official sources of information while 
we rethought work routines and followed the concern over public health 
and the denialism present mainly in digital social networks.
