Coming soon the magazine Empresa y Humanismo

publish a number dedicated to the increase in life expectancy to the 
changes that this increase will undoubtedly generated in all areas of 
society.

*CALL FOR PAPERS*

The /Revista Empresa y Humanismo/ invites the research community to 
submit their work for a special issue dedicated to the increase in life 
expectancy (longevity). Under this term we include all the changes that 
this increase will cause in all aspects of life:

·In the demographic structure. Greater life expectancy, fewer births

·In the labor market, which will change in line with demographic 
changes: fewer births, less poultry farmers, pediatricians, teachers and 
more geriatricians, nursing homes. New productive and service sectors

·Sustainability of the welfare state: pensions, disabilities, 
degenerative diseases...

·Legislative changes to adapt to these new situations

·New types of leisure. Demand for activities to fill the time of that 
third age still young and wanting to travel, learn, etc.

·Education: how to prepare a generation that will face so many changes: 
geographical mobility, adaptation to company changes New models of 
continuing education are necessary

·Impact of new technologies and their adaptation to all age groups

·What can companies contribute to this new scenario?

Submission deadline: September 1, 2020 to the address (cbozal /at/ unav.es)

*All items will be subject to a complete and anonymous peer review*. 
Reviewer comments on full articles should be expected no later than 
November 30, 2020.**

*Acceptance of items: *the communication of acceptance or rejection for 
publication will be made before December 5, 2020.**

No payment from authors will be expected. Since the subjects are 
interdisciplinary, the collaborations of both Masters in Sciences and 
Social Sciences will also be welcome.

*Revista Empresa y Humanismo 2020*

La Revista Empresa y Humanismo invita a la comunidad investigadora a 
remitir sus trabajos para un número especial dedicado al incremento en 
la esperanza de vida (/longevity)/. Bajo este término englobamos todos 
los cambios que ese aumento va a provocar en todos los aspectos de la vida:

-En la estructura demográfica. Mayor esperanza de vida, menor número de 
nacimientos.

-En el mercado de trabajo, que cambiará en consonancia con los cambios 
demográficos: menos nacimientos menos puericultores, pediatras, maestros 
y más geriatras, residencias para la tercera edad. Nuevos sectores 
productivos y de servicios.

-Sostenibilidad del estado de bienestar: pensiones, incapacidades, 
enfermedades degenerativas…

-Cambios legislativos para adaptarse a esas nuevas situaciones.

-Nuevos tipos de ocio. Demanda de actividades para llenar el tiempo de 
esa tercera edad todavía joven y con ganas de viajar, aprender, etc.

-Educación: cómo preparar a una generación que va a enfrentarse a tantos 
cambios: movilidad geográfica, adaptación a cambios de empresa. Son 
necesarios nuevos modelos de educación continua.

-Impacto de las nuevas tecnologías y su adaptación a todos los grupos de 
edad

-¿Qué pueden aportar las empresas a este nuevo escenario?

*Plazos relevantes:*

Envío de artículos: hasta el 1 de septiembre de 2020 a la dirección

Todos los artículos estarán sujetos a una revisión por pares completa y 
anónima. Los comentarios de los revisores sobre los artículos completos 
serán enviados antes del 30 de noviembre de 2020.

Aceptación definitiva de artículos: La comunicación de aceptación o 
rechazo para publicación se realizará antes del 5 de diciembre de 2020.
