The Media Arts, Sciences, and Studies Department (MASS) in the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College invites applications for a tenure-eligible Assistant Professor position in television production with an emphasis on digital producing including pre-production, production and post-production processes— to begin August 16, 2020. The position will primarily teach advanced courses in producing and program development, courses that serve undergraduate students enrolled in the TV-Radio degree, but students in the Sports Media; Documentary Studies & Production; Writing for Film, TV, and Emerging Media and Emerging Media degree often take these classes. There is the potential to teach foundation-level television production courses (single camera/field) and to develop new coursework related to one’s expertise.
