Associate or Full Professor of Media Studies

The Department of Media Studies at the University of Virginia invites 
applications for an Associate or Full Professor of Media Studies. The 
position begins in August 2019. Specialty is open, including global 
media, critical perspectives on reception research, media and race, sex, 
class, & gender inequality, screen studies, labor research.

A PhD in media studies or a related field is required. In addition, the 
successful candidate must have an international research reputation in 
their field and a record of proven teaching excellence at the graduate 
and undergraduate levels.   Experience in program development is preferred.
